This is not your grandpa’s golf course, unless your grandpa is Willie Nelson. Willie owns this 9-hole course, formerly known as the Briarcliff Yacht and Golf Club. In 1979 he bought it out of bankruptcy and it is now known as Willie Nelson’s Cut n Putt because you can make a hit record and then head out for a day on the greens. This casual course allows flip flops and Willie has been known to say “may he with the fastest cart win”. The course has a staff of four and a vintage irrigation system, it is not for those seeking the elite country club experience.
